Manga Achar

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 250 g Raw mangoes sour
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp Kashmiri chilly powder
- 5 g Fenugreek seeds roasted and — powdered
- 5 g Asafoetida(roasted and powdered (Kayam)
- Water boiled and cooled
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Manga Achar, finely chop the raw mangoes.
Step 2
Mix it together with all the rest of the ingredients.
Step 3
Keep it for sometime.Manga Achar as a side dish.
Tip
The jar must be completely dry and the spoon must be clean every time you take from it. Any moisture introduces bacteria and spoils the pickle.
