Mampazha Pulisseri

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 2 large Ripe mangoes
- 2 cup Fairly sour curd
- 1 cup Coconut — grated
- 6 nos Green chillies
- Turmeric powder A pinch
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds (Uluva)
- Curry leaves A, a few
- 1 tsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Steam the fruits, cool, de-skin and remove the pulp.
Step 2
Pass it through a blender for a smooth texture.
Step 3
Grind coconut, green chillies and turmeric to a fine paste.
Step 4
Beat the curd well.
Step 5
Mix everything together in a pan.
Step 6
Heat the mixture on medium heat.
Step 7
As soon as it starts frothing, take it off the heat.
Step 8
Add salt and stir continuously for a few mins.
Step 9
Heat the oil in a small pan.
Step 10
Let the mustard seeds crackle and fenugreek seeds.
Step 11
Add curry leaves and cook for a second.
Step 12
Pour this into the mango mixture.
Step 13
Goes well with rice.
