Macaroni Chicken Cake
Its a simple and awesome pasta recipe that you can serve it as a snack,appetizer or ifthar dish.Its prepared with cooked macaroni and chicken masala.Both of them are combined with beaten egg and cooked in a saucepan.Lets go through the recipe images and must give this a try:-).
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 3 cup Macaroni
- 1 cup Chicken cooked adding 1 tsp pepper and enough salt
- 2 large Onion
- 4 Green chilly — chopped
- 11/2 Tsp,crushed Ginger garlic
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tbsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Cook the macaroni in enough water with salt to taste and 1 tbsp oil.when its cooked,drain the water and set aside.
Step 2
Warm the oil in a pan and add crushed ginger garlic and stir for a few seconds.then add sliced onion and green chilly.cook until it has softened.
Step 3
Add all powders and shredded chicken.Cook for another 2-3 minutes and take it off the heat.
Step 4
In a food processor or blender add eggs,pepper powder and salt to taste.(make sure to add just enough salt becoz the chicken filling and macaroni already contains enough salt).blend it for 3 minutes.
Step 5
Add cooked macaroni and chicken filling in a bowl and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 6
Add the egg mixture and Fold everything together gently.
Step 7
Heat ghee in a saucepan and pour prepared macaroni mixture.cook in very low flame for 25-30 minutes.
Step 8
Now slowly turn this to the other side and cook on low heat for another 4-5 minutes.
Step 9
Remove this from flame and serve hot or warm.
Tip
Ghee quality matters enormously in traditional sweets. Use homemade ghee if you can — the flavour is incomparably richer.
