Kerala Tuna Sandwich

Ingredientsfor 1 servings
- Canned tuna
- 1/2 Of Cabbage — grated
- 1 nos Carrot — grated
- 1 tsp Yoghurt/Curd
- 2 tbsp Mayonnaise
- Salt A pinch
- 1/4 tsp Sugar
- 1 nos Onion — cut into small pieces
- Black pepper
- Bread slices
Preparation
Step 1
Shred the tuna after draining off the water completely.
Step 2
Mix together mayonnaise, yoghurt, salt and sugar.
Step 3
Add the chopped vegetables and tuna to the above mixture and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Toast two slices of bread.
Step 5
Spread the mixture on it.
Step 6
Add black pepper powder.
Step 7
It can be made without toasting the bread also.
Tip
Do not rush the onion and shallot frying. The difference between pale onions and properly browned onions is the difference between a flat dish and a flavourful one.
