Kerala Style Palak Thoran
It is a tasty recipe which we can eat with rice ,chappathi,naan etc.It is full of vitamins and is good for health.It is a tasty recipe too.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1 cup Palak
- 1/2 cup Coconut — grated
- 1 tsp Coconut oil
- 1 Onion
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 4 Green chilly
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 Red chilli
- 1 tsp Mustard
Preparation
Step 1
Pour oil into a kadai and heat it add mustard, when it allow to crackles add red chilli cook for a minute.
Step 2
Add chopped palak leaves to this and Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Grind coconut, cumin seeds, onion and green chilly in a mixer.
Step 4
Add this ground mix to palak, add salt and Stir everything together thoroughly. Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Now Kerala style palak thoran is ready.
Tip
Shred the vegetable as fine as you can — the thinner the cuts, the better the thoran. A sharp knife makes all the difference.
