Kerala Style Curd Rice

- 1 glass Cooked White Rice
- 3/4 glass Curd
- 11/2 inch Ginger — cut into long pieces
- 5 nos Green Chilly
- 1 Spoon Oil
- 1/2 Spoon Mustard Seeds
- 1 Stem Curry leaves
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Kerala Style Curd Rice, first Heat the oil in a kadai and let the mustard seeds crackle.
Step 2
Put curry leaves.
Step 3
Add ginger and green chilly and cook it, stirring nicely.
Step 4
Simmer the flame and add the curd.
Step 5
Immediately off the flame and with a spoon nicely mix the curd.
Step 6
Finally add salt and rice.
Step 7
Mix Kerala Style Curd Rice well.
Tip
Soak the rice for at least 20 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking and prevents the grains from breaking.
