Kerala Simple Fruit Salad
A fresh, crunchy side that adds a cool contrast to the spiced dishes on a Kerala meal plate. Light seasoning, fresh ingredients, and a simplicity that lets each component speak for itself.
Ingredientsfor 25 servings
- 14 Oz Sweetened condensed milk
- 12 Oz Cream cheese
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder (Elakka)
- 1 Can Mango
- 1 Can Palm seed
- 1 Can Coconut string
- 1 Can Papaya
Preparation
Step 1
Blend together condensed milk and cream cheese in a mixer grinder, for about 25 seconds.
Step 2
Put all the canned fruits together in a bowl.
Step 3
Add only the fruits and not the syrup.
Step 4
Add the blended mixture into the fruits bowl.
Step 5
Add cardamom powder and give it a good stir.
Step 6
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Step 7
Serve chilled.
Step 8
Use fat free cream cheese for diet people.
Step 9
Use more canned fruits as per your choice.
