Kerala Nadan Egg Roast
It is a nadan dish in kerala,we can eat this as a side dish with chappathi and rice.We can eat this curry with kerala appam and idiyappam.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 4 Boiled egg
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 nos Onion — finely chopped
- 1 nos Tomato — chopped
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- Coconut oil, to taste
- 4 nos Green chilli
- 1/2 cup Water
- Coriander leaves, a few
Preparation
Step 1
Warm the oil in a kadai, add onions and green chillies and Let it cook for 2 minutes.
Step 2
Add tomatoes and ginger garlic paste and cook for a minute.
Step 3
Add chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and coriander powder. Stir for a minute.
Step 4
Next add coriander leaves, required salt and 1/2 cup water. let it bubble for 2 minutes.
Step 5
Next, add boiled eggs to this and let it bubble for 2 minutes until gravy becomes thick.
Step 6
Now kerala nadan egg roast is ready.
Tip
Frying the boiled eggs briefly before adding to the curry gives them a golden skin that holds up better in the gravy.
