Kerala Easy Vegetable Fried Rice
Fried rice with vegetables and egg - Kerala Easy Vegetable Fried Rice.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 2 cup Rice
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Celery diced into tiny cubes
- 1/2 cup Carrot — cut into a wheat grain size
- 1/4 cup Spring onions — finely chopped
- 10 nos Beans — finely chopped
- 1 nos Egg
- 1 tbsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Cook rice with 4 cups of water and cool it in a flat plate.
Step 2
Pour oil into a pan and heat it.
Step 3
Add egg and whisk it well with a spatulla.
Step 4
Add celery, carrot, spring onions, onions and beans.
Step 5
Add salt, pepper powder and stir and cook for about 3 minutes.
Step 6
Add cooked rice to it and stir it well and switch off the stove.
Step 7
Garnish with spring onions. Serve.
Tip
Soak the rice for at least 20 minutes before cooking. This ensures even cooking and prevents the grains from breaking.
