Karkadaka Puzhukku

Ingredientsfor 4 servings

• 1/2 cup Yam chena
• 1/2 cup Taro chembu
• 1/2 cup Taro stem here I didn't use, chembu thal
• 1/4 cup Tapioca kappa
• 1 Cubed Raw Banana pacha kaya
• 8 Finely Small onion
• 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/4 tsp Chilli powder
• 3 Green chilli
• 2 Dried red chilli
• Curry leaves
• 2 tbsp Coconut oil
• 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
• Salt, to taste

Preparation

1. Step 1

   Cut and wash all the vegetables and set aside.

2. Step 2

   Pressure cook the washed vegetables with salt, turmeric,chilli powder and little water for 2 whistles.

3. Step 3

   Warm coconut oil in a pan,let the mustard seeds crackle,add dried red chilli and cook it, stirring.Then add small onions along with green chillies,curry leaves and cook it, stirring well.

4. Step 4

   Add the cooked vegetables to the pan and Stir everything together thoroughly.

5. Step 5

   Karkadaka Puzhukk is ready.Serve hot with Kanji,pickles and pappadam.
