Kadukka Fry
Easy to make side dish which can be had with rice, chapati, pathiri and so on - Kadukka fry.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 1 Cup, Mussels
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 2 Onion
- 2 Tomato
- 3 Green chilly
- 1/4 Pc Ginger
- 5 Pods Garlic
- Curry leaves, to taste
- Oil to fry
- Coriander leaves to garnish
Preparation
Step 1
Marinate the mussels in chilly powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and salt.
Step 2
Fry it in oil and set aside.
Step 3
Mash the ginger-garlic and sautT it in oil.
Step 4
Add onion and sautT well.
Step 5
Add green chilly, tomato, curry leaves and sautT again.
Step 6
Add chilly powder if you love spiciness.
Step 7
Mix in the fried mussels.
Step 8
Get it from flame and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve it with rice, chappathi or pathiri.
Tip
The final handful of curry leaves should go in right at the end, off the heat — they should crackle and crisp in the residual heat.
