Instant Wheat Dosa
Golden-brown and lightly crisp, this dosa is the kind of breakfast that works on busy mornings and lazy weekends alike. The batter keeps well in the fridge for two to three days.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 11/2 tbsp All purpose flour(Maida
- Salt, to taste
- Water, to taste
- Ghee, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl mix wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt and required water. Check for consistency and add more water only if required. Do not make it watery. Rest the batter for 5-10 minutes.
Step 2
Now carefully pour a spoonful of the dosa batter over a hot tawa and spread it slowly. Sprinkle ½ or 1 tsp of ghee on top.
Step 3
When the base is crisp and golden, flip the dosa and cook. When both sides are cooked well, remove from pan.
Step 4
Serve Instant Wheat Dosa immediately with chutney or any veg or non veg gravy.
Tip
A well-seasoned cast iron or non-stick tawa makes all the difference. If the dosa sticks, your pan needs more seasoning or the temperature is too low.
