Instant Chicken Curry
A spicy, tasty, a quintessential, one-pot Indian Style chicken curry that consists of bite-size boneless chicken cooked in a perfect mix of onion, tomato, and spices. It can be served on any occasion/meal along with your favorite choice of side like bread/rice/roti's, etc.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 kg Chicken
- 2 nos Onion — finely chopped
- 2 nos Tomato — finely chopped
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
- 2 tsp Chilly powder
- 2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- Curry leaves A, a few
- Salt, to taste
- 1 tbsp Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Clean and cut chicken into medium pieces.
Step 2
Heat up a pressure cooker.
Step 3
Add chicken pieces along with all the other ingredients(except garam masala).
Step 4
Pressure cook upto 2 whistles.
Step 5
After opening the lid, add garam masala powder and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 6
Serve while still hot with boiled rice or Indian breads.
Tip
Taste the gravy before adding the main ingredient. It should be well-seasoned and balanced on its own — the protein or vegetable will dilute it slightly.
