Homemade Pineapple Jam

- 1 Pineapple
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 Cardamom
- Water, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the pineapple into small pieces.
Step 2
Add chopped pineapple and 1/2 cup water into a pressure cooker.
Step 3
Pressure let it go for 2 whistles.
Step 4
In the mean time,melt sugar in little water until it turns to thick and lightly browned.add crushed cardamom in it.
Step 5
Add sugar syrup into cooked pineapple,Stir everything together thoroughly and cook it again for 2 minutes.
Step 6
Hamemade pineapple jam is ready.
Tip
Coconut oil is the default cooking fat in Kerala kitchens. It adds a depth of flavour that other oils simply cannot match in these recipes.
