Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 4 cup Curd / Buttermilk : 3
- Green chilli : 2 nos. (or as reqd
- Ginger : 1 piece
- Salt, to taste
- Curry leaves : 1 stem
- Shallots : 2 nos
Preparation
Step 1
Clean the ginger, curry leaves and shallots and cut them into small pieces.
Step 2
Get the curd in a jug and add the cleaned and cut shallots, ginger, green chilli, salt and curry leaves with the curd.
Step 3
Mix / grind all these items (curd, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves, shallots and salt)together by using a blender / mixer.
Step 4
Filter the mix and change it into a bottle / jar and store it in refrigerator.

As and when required, add about ¼ cup of the mix with cold / normal water and serve it.
Step 7
This is a very healthy and Drink and free from all kind of chemicals. This drink is also economically viable and can be prepared at home very easily.
Tip
Coconut oil is the default cooking fat in Kerala kitchens. It adds a depth of flavour that other oils simply cannot match in these recipes.
