Green Gram Dosa
Sprouted green gram and grated coconut ground together to make dosas.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 1 cup Whole Green gram sprouted, Cheru payaru
- 1/2 Of Coconut — grated
- 2 nos Green chillies
- Ginger a small piece
- Curry leaves, a few
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Grind together sprouted green gram and grated coconut to a fine paste. Keep this batter aside for 2 hours.
Step 2
Grind together green chillies, ginger, curry leaves and required salt. Add this to the green gram batter.
Step 3
Roll out into dosas and fry on both sides.
Step 4
Green gram dosa, a highly nutritious recipe, for people with diabetics and diet lovers, is ready.
Tip
The pan must be properly hot before you pour the batter. Sprinkle a few drops of water — if they sizzle and evaporate immediately, the temperature is right.
