Straightforward Kerala cooking — good ingredients treated well, spiced with confidence, and served without pretence. The kind of food that tastes like someone's kitchen, not a restaurant.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 nos Cauliflower medium
- 2 tbsp Plain flour
- 1/2 tsp Baking powder
- Salt, to taste
- 2 tsp Soy sauce
- Red colour A pinch
- Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
- 1 tsp Yoghurt
- 1 tsp Chilly powder or Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- Oil — for deep frying
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the cauliflower into chunks.
Step 2
Put it in the boiling water and drain.
Step 3
Make the batter of all the other ingredients.
Step 4
Marinate the cauliflower in the above mixture for atleast 15 - 30 minutes.
Step 5
Fry in hot oil it. Serve hot.
Tip
