Fried Roast Prawns
Its good along with chapathi ,rice and veleppam. - fried roast prawns.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- Prawns half
- Red chilly powder 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1 tsp
- Cocum 2
- Onion 1
- Tomato 1
- Ginger 1 inch piece
- Garlic 4 cloves
- Curry leaves 1 sprig
- Salt, to taste
- Green chilly 3 to 4
Preparation
Step 1
Mix prawns with turmeric powder red chilly powder and salt.
Step 2
Heat a pan pour oil and add ginger garlic and curry leaves.
Step 3
Give it a good stir and add prawns to it.
Step 4
Mix it well then add cocum (kodam puli)to it.
Step 5
When the prawns get cooked add tomato.
Step 6
Give it a good stir.
Step 7
Next, add onion and green chilly.
Step 8
Give it a good stir.
Step 9
Close the pan and allow it to get mixed and cooked well.
Step 10
After 5 to 10 mint our dish is ready.
Step 11
Serve while still hot.
Tip
A heavy-bottomed pan or cast iron skillet gives you the best results for a proper Kerala fry. Thin pans burn the spices before the meat dries.
