Fish Rolls
Fish Rolls are one of the easiest and tastiest of snacks that can be prepared in a jiffy. Fish is nutritious and you can treat your kids with Fish Rolls especially for growing up children. When fish is available and you want to make something special, turn on to Fish Rolls.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- Fish A medium sized fish
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 nos Onion — finely chopped
- 1 nos Green chilly — finely chopped
- Curry leaves — chopped
- Ginger — finely chopped
- 1 nos Potato
- Oil — for frying
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Fish Rolls, first clean the fish. You need not cut the fish into pieces.
Step 2
Boil half a glass of water with turmeric powder, pepper powder, salt and lemon juice.
Step 3
Add the fish and cover the vessel. Cook in low flame for 15 to 20 minutes (both sides).
Step 4
Chop an onion, green chilly, curry leaves and ginger.
Step 5
Do not cook this.
Step 6
Add a spoon of lemon juice and salt and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 7
Boil potato with salt and peel. Mash the boiled potato.
Step 8
Get out the flesh of the fish and mix all the ingredients: fish, onion, green chilly, curry leaves, ginger and potato together.
Step 9
Make thick rolls of finger length.
Step 10
Dip in egg white and roll them in bread crumbs.
Step 11
Fry Fish Rolls in hot oil till they become golden brown.
Step 12
Fish Rolls with ketchup.
Tip
Seafood cooks in minutes. The single biggest mistake is overcooking — the moment fish turns opaque or prawns curl and go pink, they are done.
