Finger Millet(Ragi) Porridge For Babies-Healthy Breakfast Drink
Finger millet porridge is an easy and healthy breakfast porridge for kids. Ragi, coconut milk, and sugar/jaggery together make a sweet and porridge.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 2 Tspn Ragi finger millet
- 1 cup Coconut milk
- Sugar 2 tblsn
- Salt pinch
Preparation
Step 1
Mix sugar and coconut milk.
Step 2
Add ragi powder and mix thoroughly and break up lumps if any.
Step 3
Begin to cook this on a low to medium flame.stirring constantly to prevent burning and lumps.after few minutes you can see a thick glossy consistency.turn off the heat.
Step 4
Ragi porridge is ready.
Tip
Let the dish rest for a few minutes after cooking. Flavours settle and meld during this time, and the texture often improves.
