Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- Egg (boiled) : 2 nos
- Coconut : ½ of a small coconut
- Curry leaves : a, a few
- Onion : ¼ of a small onion
- Coriander leaves : a, a few
- Egg white : 3 eggs
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Grind together coconut, curry leaves, onion and coriander leaves.
Step 2
Cut boiled eggs into two.
Step 3
Put the grinded mixture at the top of each egg.
Step 4
Dip it in the egg white.
Step 5
Pour oil into a kadai and heat it. Fry the eggs one by one.
Step 6
Egg snack ready.
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
