Egg Pepper Roast | Nadan Mutta Pepper Roast
Pepper Egg Roast – a spicy Nadan Mutta Pepper Roast with bold flavours and Kerala-style masala. Perfect with appam, chapati or rice.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 5 nos Eggs
- 4 nos Onion Sliced thin
- 3 nos Green chilly(chopped
- 2 nos Tomato
- 1 Clove Garlic
- 11/2 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- Curry leaves, a few
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Salt, as needed
Preparation
Step 1
Warm the oil in a pan, add onion, salt and cook until soft. Add green chilly, tomato, crushed garlic and cook until the raw smell disappears.
Step 2
Add all masalas and cook until oil appears on top.
Step 3
Add the hard boiled eggs and curry leaves and slowly combine. Cook for another five minutes on low heat and take it off the heat.
Step 4
Egg Pepper Roast is ready.
Tip
Coconut oil is not optional in a Kerala fry. It adds a flavour that no other oil can replicate.
