Easy Tender Coconut Water Pudding
Pudding made of cocunut water topped with a lovely sweet sauce.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 nos Tender coconut
- 1/2 Tin Condensed milk
- 11/2 Tins Thick coconut milk
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Gelatine
Preparation
Step 1
Break coconut carefully and transfer the liquid without losing any water into a pudding bowl or pudding tray.
Step 2
Add sugar and dissolve fully.
Step 3
Carefully melt the gelatine in little warm water over the stove and mix this into the tender coconut water-sugar mixture.
Step 4
Keep this mixture in the refrigerator to set.
Step 5
For the sauce:- 1)Mix together the condensed milk and the coconut milk.
Step 6
Keep in the fridge to chill.
Step 7
Serving:- 1)In a serving bowl, cut a square piece of the pudding and top it with the chilled sauce and serve cold.
Step 8
Garnish with a few thin strips of the tender coconut flesh.
Step 9
The qauntity of gelatine should be varied in accordance with the amount of coconut water so as to get a soft jelly. The thickness & sweetness of the sauce can be varied by adding more or less of the coconut milk and milkmaid according to one`s needs.
