Easy Elaneer Pudding
A dessert very much able during the height of summers. Refreshing and tasty Easy Elaneer Pudding can be easily prepared at home with minimal ingredients. The dessert is unique and special and is branded as an energizer.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 2 nos Elaneer tender coconut
- 1/2 Tin Condensed milk
- 10 g China grass
- 2 Drops Vanilla essence
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 400 ml Milk
- 1/4 cup Hot water
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Easy Elaneer Pudding, first soak china grass in hot water for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Get the flesh of 2 tender coconuts and water of one tender coconut. Set aside some coconut flesh out of it.
Step 3
Mix the remaining coconut flesh and water with sugar in a mixer grinder.
Step 4
Now boil milk in a bottom thick vessel by stirring it continuously.
Step 5
Mix in the condensed milk. Don't stop stirring.
Step 6
Once milk is hot, mix in the tender coconut juice with it. Pour vanilla essence. Stir continuously.
Step 7
In the mean time you must also melt the china grass in low flame by stirring it at intervals. Take care that there is no granules left which is not melted.
Step 8
Mix the melted china grass with the milk mixture by stirring continuously. Take it from flame after 1 minute.
Step 9
Mix in the sliced tender coconut flesh we have kept aside.
Step 10
Convert the mixture to a pudding bowl.
Step 11
Let it cool before keeping it in refrigerator.
Step 12
Garnish Easy Elaneer Pudding with cherries and serve it sliced.
Tip
Fresh curry leaves make a genuine difference. Dried curry leaves are a poor substitute — if you cannot get fresh ones, increase the quantity and fry them longer.
