Easy Egg Fried Rice
A and nutritious combo of a variety of veggies and scrambled eggs. A mouth watering dish that can be served to guests who arrive without prior notice.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- Rice : 2 cup
- Beans : 1/4 cup
- Carrot : 1/4 cup
- Capsicum : 1/4 cup
- Onion : 1 no
- Egg : 2 nos
- Soya sauce : 2 tsp
- Chilly sauce : 2 tsp
- Water : 3 ½ cup or as sufficient
- Garam masala : 2 tsp
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing Easy Egg Fried Rice, wash the rice and set aside in a sieve so that all water is drained.
Step 2
Cook the vegetables using little salt and oil.
Step 3
Add egg in to it and give it a good stir.
Step 4
When the vegetables egg and capsicum gets cooked set aside closed.
Step 5
Heat a pan add 2 tablespoon of ghee or oil to it and add onion to it.
Step 6
Add sufficient salt and rice to it and stir until the rice turns a slight colour change.
Step 7
Add garam masala give it a good stir and then add water.
Step 8
Add soya sauce and chilli sauce to it.
Step 9
Give it a good stir and close it for 15 minutes.
Step 10
When rice gets half cooked add the vegetables in it.
Step 11
Give it a good stir and close it for 5 minutes more.
Step 12
Then its ready to serve.
Tip
For each cup of rice, use slightly less water than usual when adding other liquid ingredients like coconut milk or stock.
