Easy Beef Pizza
Beef cooked the Kerala way — with patience, a heavy hand of spices, and enough coconut oil to make the purists happy. The meat is slow-cooked until it is tender enough to fall apart, then finished with intensity.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 2-3 nos Kubboos
- Beef masala, to taste
- 1-2 nos Carrot — sliced
- 1 nos Cucumber — finely sliced
- Tomato sauce, to taste
- Mayonnaise, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing easy pizza, first cook beef with little turmeric, chilly powder, salt and garam masala. Mince and set aside.
Step 2
Finely slice the carrot and cucumber.
Step 3
Place the kubboos on a flat plate.
Step 4
Apply 2-3 tsp of mayonnaise and sauce on the kubboos.
Step 5
Then spread 3-4 tsp of the prepared beef masala on the kubboos.
Step 6
Sprinkle the sliced carrot and cucumber on it. Serve it.
Tip
Pressure cooking first saves time, but do not skip the dry-roasting step after — that is where the Kerala beef fry gets its signature dark, caramelised crust.
