Easy Banana Halwa
A traditional Kerala sweet that balances richness with restraint. Made with jaggery, coconut, and a careful hand, the sweetness is warm rather than overwhelming — the kind of flavour that lingers.

- 5 nos Banana
- 1/2 cup Ghee
- 1 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1 cup Sugar
- 15 nos Cashew nuts
- 1 cup Water
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing easy banana halwa, crush the cashew nuts and fry it in little ghee.
Step 2
Chop the banana and fry it in ghee.
Step 3
Boil water and add banana and sugar. Cook the banana till soft.
Step 4
Add cashew and cardamom powder and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 5
In a plate spread ghee and pour the mixture in it.
Step 6
Cut when cooled and serve. Easy banana halwa is ready.
Tip
Ghee quality matters enormously in traditional sweets. Use homemade ghee if you can — the flavour is incomparably richer.
