Easy Apple Halwa
Grated apple cooked with condensed milk and other ingredients.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 2 nos Apple — grated
- 1/4 cup Condensed milk
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon powder (Karugapatta)
- Cloves powder A pinch (Grambu)
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp Raisins Unakka munthiri
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing easy apple halwa, first fry raisins in ghee and keep raisins aside.
Step 2
Add cinnamon powder, clove powder, cardamom powder and grated apple. Stir in low flame.
Step 3
Stir in sugar and condensed milk. Stir everything together thoroughly to combine and keep stirring in low flame till thick.
Step 4
Grease a plate with ghee and pour the apple halwa contents. Press firmly on top. Decorate top with fried raisins.
Step 5
Allow the easy apple halwa to cool. Cut into desired shapes.
Tip
Ghee quality matters enormously in traditional sweets. Use homemade ghee if you can — the flavour is incomparably richer.
