Easter Special Kozhukatta
A traditional preparation from Kerala that balances flavour, texture, and aroma in the way that only home cooking can. No two households make it exactly the same, and that is the point.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- Rice flour : 1 cup
- Coconut : ½ cup
- Jaggery : ½ cup
- Salt, to taste
- Water, to taste
- Oil : 1tsp
Preparation
Step 1
Grate jaggery first and then heat a pan add oil to it and add jaggery to it.

Allow it to get melt.
Step 3

Next, add coconut to it.
Step 5
Give it a good stir.
Step 6
When it sauted well,off the flame.
Step 7
Then heat another pan add water to it and when it boils add rice flour and salt,give it a good stir and off the flame.
Step 8
Then make it a smooth dough.
Step 9
Get little from the dough and make it flat.
Step 10
To this add little of coconut matter.
Step 11
Then close it by making ball shaped or as u like.
Step 12
Then using a steamer or idli maker cook it.
Step 13
Serve while still hot or chilled.
