Dosa Egg Pizza
Crispy on the edges, soft in the middle — this dosa egg pizza is a breakfast staple across Kerala. The batter comes together quickly and the dosa cooks in under a minute on a hot tawa.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- Tender Coconut dasa : 1 no
- Egg : 1 no
- Onion (chopped) : 1tsp
- Tomato (chopped) :1 tsp
- Bread (cut into square shapes) : 2 Bread
- Dosa batter : for 1 dosa
- Tomato ketchup
Preparation
Step 1
Fry bread in a non stick pan.
Step 2
Grind tender coconut puree in a mixer.
Step 3
Mix it with dosa batter.
Step 4
Stir everything together thoroughly egg, tomato and onion.
Step 5
Make dosa on a Tava.
Step 6
Pour egg batter on it.
Step 7
Make it in round shape (if Dosa didn’t appear in round shape when batter poured).
Step 8
Just spread bread cubes on it. Cut dosa into 4 pieces.
Step 9
Pour tomato ketchup on it.
Step 10
Dosa Egg PIzza ready.
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
