Delicious & Easy To Prepare Fried Chciken
A robust chicken preparation where the meat absorbs a pounding of Kerala spices and slow-cooked onions. The curry leaves and coconut oil make it unmistakably from this part of the world.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- Chicken : 5 pieces
- Garlic : 3 cloves
- Ginger : 1 inch piece
- Chilly powder : 2 tsp
- Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
- Salt, to taste
- Oil : 2 tsp
Preparation
Step 1
Grind garlic and ginger and make a paste.
Step 2
Mix the chicken with ginger garlic paste, chilly powder, salt and turmeric powder.
Step 3
Heat a pan add oil in it and when its hot add chicken to it.
Step 4
Close the pan and make the both sides brown.
Step 5
Enter Step.
Step 6
Wipe off the excess oil using tissue paper or cotton.
Step 7
Serve while still hot with chappathi, rice etc.
Tip
Do not boil the curry hard after adding coconut milk. A gentle simmer is all you need — vigorous boiling can cause the coconut milk to split.
