Delicious Doughnuts
Maida, butter and other ingredients are mixed to make a dough. Then the dough is rolled, cut and then fried in oil.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 500 g All purpose flour Maida
- 250 g Yoghurt
- 170 g Sugar
- 2 nos Eggs
- 1 tbsp Vanilla essence
- 45 g Butter melted
- 1 tbsp Baking powder
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- All purpose flour for dusting, Maida
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Oil, to taste
- Sugar for dusting
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing delicious doughnuts, take a bowl and add eggs and sugar. Beat them well with an egg beater till they become fluffy.
Step 2
Mix yogurt, vanilla essence, salt and melted butter into the egg mixture.
Step 3
In a spacious mixing bowl, and add baking soda, baking powder and maida. Mix it well. 4)Add this dry mixture to the egg mixture and combine them to make a dough.
Step 4
Sprinkle flour on the work surface and roll the dough with a chappathi rolling pin to half a centimeter thickness.
Step 5
Get 2 different round cups.
Step 6
Get the big cup and cut the doughnuts.
Step 7
Then take the small cup and cut it in the centre of the doughnut.
Step 8
Keep the doughnuts aside.
Step 9
Mix the leftover dough and repeat the process again till all the entire dough is over.
Step 10
Get a fry in hot oiling pan and heat oil over a medium heat.
Step 11
Fry the doughnuts on both the sides till it becomes golden brown.
Step 12
Place the doughnuts in a bowl lined with tissue paper at the bottom to absorb the oil.
Step 13
Get a plate and place the doughnuts on it. Place your doughnuts in a plate and dust them with powdered sugar.
Step 14
Delicious doughnuts are ready. Serve with chocolate syrup or any jam.
Tip
Hard-boil the eggs first, then make shallow cuts on the surface before adding them to the gravy — this lets the masala flavour penetrate inside.
