Crunchy Fried Shrimp/prawn
To make crunchy fried shrimp you'll just toss some shrimp with kashmiri chilli powder,salt,black pepper and cook them up a bit.Then you will dip them in a flour mixture and fry it.The easiest& tastiest deep-fried shrimp ever is ready to serve.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 10 nos Prawns
- 11/2 tsp Kasmiri chilli powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper powder
- 1 cup Maida
- 1/2 cup Oats
- 1/2 cup Corn flour
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
- Salt, to taste
- Oil — for frying
Preparation
Step 1
Clean and wash the prawns.
Step 2
Marinate the prawns in kashmiri chilli powder,pepper powder,salt and pressure cook it until 2-3 whistles.
Step 3
Get oats,maida,corn flour,1/2 tsp pepper powder,cardamom powder,salt and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Dip the prawns in flour mixture.
Step 5
Get one cup water and dip the flour coated prawns in it and again dip in the flour mixture.
Step 6
Set a pan over medium heat and pour in the oil and fry until golden brown.
Step 7
Crunchy fried prawns is ready to serve.
Tip
Seafood cooks in minutes. The single biggest mistake is overcooking — the moment fish turns opaque or prawns curl and go pink, they are done.
