Crispy Chicken Broast
A favorite among fried chicken lovers, known for its golden-brown, extra-crunchy coating and flavorful meat inside.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 500 g Chicken
- 1 cup Maida
- 1 tbsp Vinegar
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Red chilly powder
- 1/2 cup Corn flour
- 1/2 cup Oats
- Oil — for frying
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Wash and clean the chicken.
Step 2
Marinate the chicken pieces in chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste. Dip the marinated chicken pieces in flour mixture (maida, corn flour, oats and salt to taste).
Step 3
Keep it in refrigerator for 2 hours.
Step 4
Warm the oil in a pan and fry in hot oil it till golden brown.
Step 5
Spicy Crispy Chicken Broast is ready to serve.
Tip
Patience at the dry-roasting stage is everything. The longer you let the moisture evaporate, the more concentrated the flavour becomes.
