Corn Flour Sweet
A traditional Kerala sweet that balances richness with restraint. Made with jaggery, coconut, and a careful hand, the sweetness is warm rather than overwhelming — the kind of flavour that lingers.

- Corn flour — roasted
- Sugar syrup, to taste
- 8 nos Cashew nuts
- 8 nos Raisins
- 3 nos Cardamom (Elakka)
- Butter, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing corn flour sweet, heat a pan and fry all the ingredients.
Step 2
Apply ghee on a tray and put the mixture in it. Press it a bit with a spoon.
Step 3
Corn flour sweet is ready. Slice it and serve.
Tip
Ghee quality matters enormously in traditional sweets. Use homemade ghee if you can — the flavour is incomparably richer.
