Cool Mint Lemon Drink
A refreshing drink that cools you down on a hot Kerala afternoon. Made with fresh ingredients and served chilled, it is the kind of thing you keep refilling without realising.
Ingredientsfor 8 servings
- 1 cup Lemon juice 8 to 10 large lemon
- 11/2 cup Sugar adjust to your sweetness
- Salt a sprinkle
- Ice, to taste — crushed
- 2 Bundles Fresh mint leaves washed and — cleaned
- 2 litre Bottled water
Preparation
Step 1
Blend together lemon juice, sugar, mint and crushed ice. Blend till there are no more traces of the mint leaves.
Step 2
Transfer to a wide mouthed bottle. Shake it vigorously with bottled water.
Step 3
Adjust the sweetness and serve with crushed ice.
Step 4
Suitable for poolside gathering.
