Cookies With Coconut Topping

Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- 1 cup All purpose flour Maida
- 1 nos Egg yolk beaten
- 1/4 cup Butter/dalda
- Colored jam Little
- Salt, to taste
- 1 nos Egg white beaten
- 1/2 cup Coconut — grated
- 1 tsp Rice flour
- 3/4 cup Sugar — powdered
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla essence
Preparation
Step 1
For preparing cookies with coconut topping, first rub maida and dalda together. Add egg yolk and enough water to prepare a smooth dough.
Step 2
Roll out the dough evenly into a greased square tin.
Step 3
Spread a little jam on top of the dough.
Step 4
Mix egg white, sugar, rice flour and grated coconut. Spread this mixture evenly over the jam.
Step 5
Bake for 40 minutes(375 degree) until the top is golden in color.
Step 6
Cookies with coconut topping, a Tea time snack is ready. Cool and cut into desired shapes.
