Coconut Chutney
Ground fresh and served immediately, this chutney hits all the right notes — heat from the chillies, richness from coconut, and a sharp tang that cuts through rich curries and fried foods.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- Onion : ½ of onion (chopped in big pieces
- 6 piece Garlic : 5
- Ginger : 2 or 3 pieces
- Curry leaves, a few
- Coriander leaves, a few
- Salt, to taste
- Tamarind : 1 small bowl
- Kaanthari : 10 to 20 pieces
- Lemon : ½ no
- Coconut : 1 no
Preparation
Step 1
Crush 1st to 8th ingredients in a mixer grinder.
Step 2
Add coconut to it.
Step 3
Crush them thoroughly and make a paste form.
Step 4
Add lemon to it if you want more bitter taste.
