Coconut Balls
A traditional preparation from Kerala that balances flavour, texture, and aroma in the way that only home cooking can. No two households make it exactly the same, and that is the point.
Ingredientsfor 4 servings
- Coconut : 2 cups desiccated
- Condensed milk : 1 cup
- Nuts : 2 tsp — chopped
- Cardamom powder :1 tsp
Preparation
Step 1
Get a cup of condensed milk.
Step 2
Chop the nuts/ grate and set aside.
Step 3
Keep the desiccated coconut ready.
Step 4
Set a pan on the stove, heat ghee and add the desiccated coconut and the nuts.
Step 5
Add the condensed milk and boil.
Step 6
Add sugar and let it boil.
Step 7
Wait till it comes to thick consistency.
Step 8
Make them into small balls and Serve right away.
Tip
