Chocolate Roll
A home-style Kerala dish made with care and the kind of spice knowledge that comes from watching someone else cook it a hundred times. Each step matters, and the result is worth the effort.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- Coco powder : 1 tsp
- Melted chocolate : ¼ cup
- Cashewnut : 8 nos
- Marie biscuits : 20 nos
- Any biscuit of
- Chocolate flavour : 10 nos
- Sugar : ½ cup
- Unsalted Butter : 15 gm
- Boiling water : 1 cup
Preparation
Step 1
First powder the biscuits and cashew nuts.
Step 2
Melt the chocolate and add a tbsp of hot water in it.3) Powder the sugar and mix with butter. Set aside.
Step 3
In a cup of hot water, add the coco powder, chocolate and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Mix this with the biscuit mixture and make a smooth dough.6) Roll this like a chappathi, little thicker than chappathi size. 7) Now add the sugar mix and roll the dough.
Step 5
Cover it with foil or wrapper.
Step 6
Keep it refrigerated for 3 hrs.10) Cut the roll and serve chilled.
