Choco Cookie Pudding
A traditional preparation from Kerala that balances flavour, texture, and aroma in the way that only home cooking can. No two households make it exactly the same, and that is the point.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- Cocoa powder, to taste
- 1/2 Tin Condensed milk
- 300 ml Milk
- 2 nos Sunfeast glucose biscuits 75g pack
- 3 tsp Custard powder
- 3 tbsp Sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Mix together 1 tbsp of condensd milk and 3 tbsp of milk.
Step 2
Open a packet of biscuits and dip them one by one in the above mix and keep them in a plate.
Step 3
Spread cocoa powder all over the biscuits.
Step 4
Open the other pack of biscuits and dip them one by one in milk and layer it.
Step 5
Keep it in the fridge for about 15 - 20 minutes.
Step 6
Mix together custard powder and a little milk to make a smooth paste.
Step 7
Place the rest of the milk on fire and Bring to a rolling boil.
Step 8
Add sugar, custard paste and cook for about 2 minutes.
Step 9
Add condensed milk and remove from fire.
Step 10
Pour it over the biscuit layer.
Step 11
Keep it in the fridge again for 15 - 30 minutes.
Tip
Taste as you go. Recipes are guidelines — your palate is the final judge. Adjust salt, sourness, and heat to what tastes right to you.
