Chicken With Cabbage Soup
Chicken stock cooked with chopped cabbage and other ingredients.
Ingredientsfor 3 servings
- 1 cup Chicken pieces with bones cleaned and — drained
- 1/4 cup Cabbage — chopped
- 1/4 tsp Ajino moto
- 1/2 Dsp Cornflour
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1/4 tsp Soya sauce
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/4 tsp Vinegar
- 1 tsp Celery — chopped
- Water, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Cook the chopped cabbage in 1/2 cup water. Sieve and extract the cabbage stock and set aside.
Step 2
Add 2 cups of water and required salt to the chicken pieces and simmer in low heat until the chicken pieces are cooked. Sieve and extract the chicken stock and set aside.
Step 3
Extract the chicken bits from the bones.
Step 4
Get a vessel and pour the cabbage stock, chicken stock, chicken bits removed from bones, vinegar, pepper powder, soya sauce, cornflour mixed in milk and ajino moto. Heat the mixture in low fire. Do not boil.
Step 5
Remove from fire and garnish with chopped celery leaves.
Step 6
Chicken with cabbage soup is ready and serve hot.
Tip
Marinate for at least 30 minutes if you can — the spices penetrate deeper and the chicken stays juicier.
