Chicken Egg Kizhi | Stuffed Chicken And Eggs

Ingredientsfor 8 servings
- 4 nos Eggs — boil the eggs and slice it into 2 pieces. keep it aside
- 2 nos Onion Large
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 2 nos Green chillies — chopped
- 1/4 tsp Garam masala
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 1/2 cup Chicken Cooked by adding salt and little turmeric powder — minced
- Coriander leaves, a few — chopped
- 1 cup Maida
- Water, to taste
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Heat 3 tbsp of oil in a pan and cook the onion in it till it turns lightly browned. Then add ginger garlic paste, chopped green chilly, coriander leaves and cook for another few seconds. Then add garam masala, pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste. Then add minced chicken and Fold everything together gently.
Step 2
In a roomy mixing bowl, and add all purpose flour, salt, oil, lukewarm water and knead well to make a soft dough. By using this dough, make small sized balls( lemon sized). Roll the balls in the shape of chapati. Place 2 teaspoon of the chicken masala and place a half piece of egg on top of it.
Step 3
Then bring the corners of the circle together and press it so that the kizhi doesn’t break while frying it.
Step 4
Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry in hot oil the kizhi, till it turns lightly browned.
Step 5
Chicken Egg Kizhi is ready.
Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
