Buttermilk Roasted Chicken

Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- 1 kg Chicken
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Jeera
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1/2 slice Lemon
- 1/2 tsp Fresh Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 11/2 tsp Salt as per taste can add
- 1/4 cup Oil/Ghee
Preparation
Step 1
Wash chicken and slit line with knife.
Step 2
Add salt and lemon juice Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 3
Stir in red chilli powder Stir everything together thoroughly rest for about 5 minutes.
Step 4
Crush jeera and pepper in mixer blender or motor pistol.
Step 5
Stir in ginger garlic paste and sugar Stir everything together thoroughly and little oil.
Step 6
Stir in butter milk and Stir everything together thoroughly and marinate for 3 hours our if possible over night.
Step 7
After passive time take from fridge and pre heat oven for about 15 minutes and cook in 200 degree or pre heat tawa for about 10 minutes with few tsp of oil or ghee.
Step 8
Place the chicken and cook for about 10 minutes.
Step 9
Now turn next side and cook for same.
Step 10
Now apply oil / ghee top side of chicken before cook.
Step 11
Now turn both side for about 5 minutes one to cook well.
Step 12
Now its ready to serve.
Tip
Patience at the dry-roasting stage is everything. The longer you let the moisture evaporate, the more concentrated the flavour becomes.
