ButterCake/Pressure Cooker Butter Cake Without Oven
This Butter cake recipe in pressure cooker needs no oven and no baking.As the name suggest Butter is the main ingredient.it is a loaf cake with strong flavour of butter and extreamly soft texture.
Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 11/4 cup All purpose flour
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 3 Egg
- 1 tsp Vanilla essence
- 100 g Butter
- 1/4 cup Milk
Preparation
Step 1
In a bowl sift together maida,baking powder and baking soda.Take all the ingredients and keep ready.
Step 2
In a bowl whisk egg white and beat until stiff.
Step 3
Beat the butter with an electric beater on medium speed for 3 minute.
Step 4
Beat powdered sugar,egg yolk,milk along with butter until light fluffy.
Step 5
Add flour,egg white and mix it with a spoon.Do not beat.
Step 6
Grease the cake baking pan well with butter and flour.Convert the cake batter into it.
Step 7
Heat the cooker and add 2 cup salt.heat it for 10 minites.place a steel plate above the salt and put the cake pan.let it go for 30 minute without whistle.
Step 8
Delicious pressure cooker butter cake is ready.
Tip
When working with jaggery, always melt and strain it first. Even the best quality jaggery has some grit that needs to be removed.
