Bun Nirachathu-Chicken And Egg Stuffed Bun
Bun Nirachathu is an evening snack item prepared with bun,egg and chicken.Whole bun is stuffed with masala and a piece of boiled egg then finally dipped in a egg mixture and shallow fry it in oil.
Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 2 Bun
- 1 nos Hard Boiled egg
- 3/4 cup Boneless chicken breast filling — shredded, cook chicken adding 1/2 tsp pepper powder,1/2 tsp turmeric powder,enough salt and 1 1/2 cup water and
- 1 nos Onion
- 2 nos Green chilly
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp Pepper powder
- 2 tbsp Oil
- Coriander leaves, a few
- Curry leaves, a few
- Salt, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
At first we have to arrange the all ingredients for preparing the filling.
Step 2
Set a pan over medium heat and pour in the oil and add Onion,ginger garlic paste and green chilly.cook until the onion turns soft.
Step 3
Next, add garam masala,salt,turmeric powder,pepper powder and shredded chicken and coriander leaves.cook for another few more minutes and and take it off the heat.
Step 4
Fill each bun with a piece of hard boiled egg.
Step 5
Cover it with prepared chicken filling.
Step 6
Cover it with same piece of bun.
Step 7
Whisk 1 egg with 1/4 tsp pepper powder and a pinch of salt.Dip the stuffed bun in this egg mixture and pan-fry the all sides in hot oil.
Step 8
Bun Nirachathu is ready.
Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
