Bread Pizza
A robust chicken preparation where the meat absorbs a pounding of Kerala spices and slow-cooked onions. The curry leaves and coconut oil make it unmistakably from this part of the world.
Ingredientsfor 5 servings
- Bread slices
- Chicken
- Onion
- Green chillies
- Carrot
- Cabbage
- Cheese(grated
- Egg
- Salt, to taste
- Oil
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the bread slices in round shapes.
Step 2
Warm the oil in a pan or a kadai.
Step 3
Add onions followed by chillies, carrot, cabbage, minced chicken pieces and salt.
Step 4
Add soya sauce, if desired.
Step 5
Fry, till it gets cooked.
Step 6
Get a bread piece and put little water in the middle and press lightly.
Step 7
Fill in the middle with a little masala and a little cheese.
Step 8
Seal the edges using beaten egg.
Step 9
Repeat the process for the remaining bread slices.
Step 10
Pour a little oil in a tava.
Step 11
Fry the masala side first and then turn to cook the other side.
Tip
Bone-in chicken gives a richer, more flavourful gravy than boneless. The marrow flavours the curry as it cooks.
