Bonda (Step By Step Photos)

Ingredientsfor 6 servings
- 5 Potato
- 3 Onion
- 1 cup Gram flour
- 3 Green chilly
- 1/2 inch Ginger
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, to taste
Preparation
Step 1
Cook the potato in water and salt to taste. Mash it thoroughly and set aside.
Step 2
Heat oil and cook onion in it.
Step 3
Add green chilly, salt, turmeric powder, ginger and Stir everything together thoroughly.
Step 4
Mix in the mashed potatoes with the above mixture well.
Step 5
Get it from flame and let it cool for some time.
Step 6
Make small balls out of the mixture.
Step 7
Mix gram flour with water and salt to taste making a thick batter.
Step 8
Cover the potato balls in it.
Step 9
Fry it in oil 3-4 at a time. Serve it.
Tip
Drain on a wire rack instead of paper towels — the rack keeps the bottom from getting steamy and losing its crispness.
