Bhindi Salsa

Ingredientsfor 2 servings
- 10 nos Lady`s finger Vendakka
- 1 nos Onion big
- Tomato Salsa
- Salt, to taste
- Chilly powder, to taste
- Yoghurt
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the lady`s finger slant -wise (not round pieces).
Step 2
Fry in hot oil in oil for crisp pieces.
Step 3
Cook onion until golden brown.
Step 4
Add fried lady`s finger, tomato salsa and salt as needed.
Step 5
Chilli powder can be added if needed.
Step 6
Turn off flame and add yogurt.
Step 7
Stir everything together thoroughly for a thick gravy.
Step 8
Can be used as a side dish with rice/chapathi.
Tip
Do not rush the onion and shallot frying. The difference between pale onions and properly browned onions is the difference between a flat dish and a flavourful one.
