- 1/4 cup Cooked rice
- 1 nos Beetroot Small
- 1 nos Ripe small banana Small
Preparation
Step 1
Peel and wash the beetroot. Take it in a sauce pan, cover with little water and cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
Step 2
Cool it down. Take it in a blender and add cooked rice and banana. Puree till smooth.
Step 3
Pour in a sterlized bowl and feed your baby.
Tip
Good shallots are the backbone of Kerala cooking. They should be small, pink-purple, and strong-smelling. Large onions can substitute, but the flavour will be different.
